Alexandra Illuk
Graduate of Architecture

Alexandra is a graduate of architecture with a strong interest in environmental and social sustainability, systems thinking, and how better knowledge and research can produce better spaces for the people that use them.

Alexandra’s passion for environmental and social sustainability led her to undertake further study in 2019/2020 at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Spain where she explored concepts around urban resilience and strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation.

Her interest in creating human-centred designs that serve communities and improve urban environments led to volunteering with Aussie Action Abroad and Architects Without Frontiers to help locals rebuild a women’s community centre in Sera Village in rural Nepal which had been damaged in the 2015 earthquake.
