Civic + Community

“Their office gives a good sense of their practice. A sense of calmness, friendly; all the staff. There’s chatter and coffee, like going to a good friend’s place to have a conversation.”

Mark Allen
Acting Manager
Catholic Education Archdiocese of Brisbane

We believe Civic Architecture should set out to make a positive contribution to the community, be it culturally, socially or economically.

Thoughtful spaces built to bring people together and strengthen communities and invigorate urban life is becoming increasingly important and our clients understand that. Our Civic and Community sector Architects and designers create places that serve and represent the people who use them, we aim to deliver projects that reflect and enhance local place and identity; offer the user the opportunity to be exposed to different spatial experiences; to inhabit, to pause, to contemplate, to learn, to be entertained, to share and to become a community.

Materials, features and innovations are combined to produce functional, unique and thought-provoking places. All aspects of the design are also evaluated against the need for flexibility, future proofing, long life and low maintenance, and Environmentally Sustainable Design solutions.

At Enrich Architecture our services for the civic and community sector include research to support feasibility studies, master planning, design, documentation and project management from concept to completion.
